What we do

Website design & development.

A clear first impression. A useful next step.

Altwick designs and builds business websites around what visitors need to understand and do. The work brings content, interface design and development together, with responsive behavior and a technical foundation for search discovery.

Discuss your project

When the website is the product you need

  • Your business needs a clear presentation of its services, work and reasons to get in touch.
  • An existing website no longer represents the quality of your offer, or makes the next step difficult to find.
  • You need a focused product or campaign website rather than an authenticated application with operational workflows.
01

Content & structure

Define the audience, the questions each page needs to answer and the action it should support. Plan navigation and page relationships before treating every section as a visual composition.

02

Design & development

Build a coherent interface around your brand, with layouts that adapt to the content and viewport. Forms, links and interactive elements need to work with keyboards and touch as well as a mouse.

03

A foundation for launch

Connect the agreed form destination, check the important paths and prepare metadata, canonical URLs and crawlable public pages. Search eligibility is part of the build; rankings and traffic are not a delivery guarantee.

Choose the right kind of website

What changes after launch?
A small, stable presentation site has different needs from a website with frequent editorial changes. Discuss who will maintain the content and whether editing tools are needed before choosing the implementation.
Where does the inquiry go?
A form is a workflow, not just a set of fields. Agree its destination, required information, validation and failure behavior. A polished interface should never report success when the message has not been accepted.
Website or application?
If users need accounts, saved records or a task-driven workspace, a web application may be the better scope. A website can introduce that product without duplicating the application itself.
Work you can explore

The approach in practice.

The Altwick website

The website you are viewing is an example of our presentation approach: concise service content, responsive interfaces, detailed project pages and an inquiry interaction. It is our own website, not a client case study.

Before we start.

Can you improve an existing website?
Yes. Start with the pages, behavior or content that need to change and the constraints of the current implementation. A focused improvement may be more appropriate than rebuilding everything.
Does a website project include SEO?
We can build the technical and content structure that helps search engines discover and understand public pages. Ongoing editorial work, authority building and search performance monitoring are separate considerations to agree in the scope.
What determines the project scope?
The page types, available content, design needs, editing requirements, forms and integrations. Share your existing site, reference material and the action you want visitors to take; these are more useful starting points than a page count alone.
